Rivers-Marie Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2017

This wine is a joint project between Thomas Rivers-Brown and his partner Genevieve Marie Welsh for a very smooth and expressive Cabernet. The alluring nose is ripe and perfumed with crunchy black fruits, peppercorn, and cloves followed by a palate with a firm but full structure with a tannic grip, a round mouthfeel, and a long, concentrated, engaging finish. This is textbook Napa Cabernet Sauvignon at a price that is not overstepping its means.
