Ritme Priorat 2015

Unusually for Priorat, the dominant grape is Carinyena (Carignan) – 70%, with the rest Garnatxa. From old vines planted between 300 and 700m, and aged for 12 months in old French oak. A pretty floral nose leads into crunchy fruit aromas of raspberry, strawberry, and blackberry, with grainy, dusty tannins on the palate together with Carignan’s typical high acidity, finished off with a spicy backbone.
