Rey Santo Rueda Verdejo 2019

A classic expression of the native Verdejo grape in Rueda.  Made from 40 year-old vines showing youthfully bright notes of lemon/lime, tart green apple, pineapple and a light grassy flavor that could be interpreted as anise or fennel.  Lively and exuberant providing refreshing flavors and svelte aromatics.  A perfect sipper providing value that is unheard of.  THIS is the wine to buy by the case and substitute for Sauvignon Blanc
