Revival Vineyards "Field Guide Red" Napa Valley 2016

The blend changes each year with the 2016 coming in at 60% Cabernet Sauvignon from just south of Stag's Leap, 20% Petite Verdot and 20% Merlot each from Rutherford Bench. A luscious wine that flows with blackberry compote, dusty vanilla-tinged tannins, and dark chocolate, all kept in balance with notes of sweet tobacco and pencil shavings.  Medium bodied and a delight to drink with or without food. Top notch fruit at an everyday price.
