Rene Lequin-Colin Santenay Vieilles Vignes 2021

The vieilles vines rouge is blend of three vineyards from clay and limestone soils in the underrated village of Santenay. Both light and dark fruit on the palate as well as the visual appearance, the nose is savory with woodsy aromas and black cherries. Mostly neutral barrique are used softened the ripe red fruits while providing balanced tannins and acidity for a wine that exhibits delicate depth.
