From one of our favorite local producers, the fruit for this serious Pinot Noir comes from the small coastal AVA of Fort Ross-Seaview. Fermentation is 30% whole cluster, adding a smooth tannic structure as well as inviting aromas of strawberry, red cherry, licorice, and pepper, leading on to a gripping structure and vibrant acidity. An intense, concentrated wine that has another ten years’ life in it.
