Ravines Cabernet Franc Finger Lakes 2016

Oenologist/chef husband/wife team based on the shores of Lake Seneca in New York’s Finger Lakes make this varietally pure Cabernet Franc. The variety is emerging as the region’s signature black grape, and this wine demonstrates why. A smoky, floral, herbaceous nose with aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and pencil shavings leads on to a palate with firm, gripping tannins and vibrant acidity. Light but mouthfilling, with a long, subtly spicy finish.
