Raul Perez Ultreia Mencia Bierzo 2018

Raul Perez is essentially the Godfather of Bierzo and the grape varietal of Mencia. Not only that, but he has been a pioneer of organic and biodynamic farming. The flavors here are reminiscent of a damp maple leaf at the first setting of dew on a crisp autumn morning. It has a nice palate weight and the finish is long with good depth. Natural winemaking that comes from a mix of slate and granite with a delicateness and refinement .
