A 65% Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with additional percentages of 10% Syrah, 9% Malbec, 8% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. A combination of French and American oak, 20% new, gives the wine aromas of cocoa powder, bitter chocolate and dark fruit flavors. Plums, blackberries, black cherries and responsible tannins. A classic claret style as well as a classic Ramey wine, built on tradition and consistency.
