Estate hillside vineyard at the base of the Mayacamas in the Oak Knoll District yields a Cab lighter and more mineral-driven than most. Perfumed nose of blossoms and black fruits leads to a palate featuring the same, but sharing the stage with mineral notes of slate and granite. Firm tannins and a stiff spine of acid hold it all together and make it an especially great food wine.
