Radio-Coteau "Clos Platt" Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast 2014
Organic vineyard high above the fog line just five miles from the Pacific, near Sebastopol. Hands-off winemaking (“Radio Coteau” means “broadcasting from the hillside”). Very pretty nose of black cherries and violets leads to a complex palate of plum tart, ripe blackberry, aged leather, cola, cloves, mushroom and crushed rock. Fine tannins, acid just right. Elegant, harmonious and vibrant—a remarkably complete wine.
