Purlieu "Le Pich" Cabernet Sauvignon Napa 2016

Julien Fayard uses his decades of knowledge and experience to craft this “affordable” Napa Cabernet. The fruit is very restrained, but there are hints of blackberry and plum that are framed by dark chocolate, leather, and nutmeg. Licorice, cassis, bay leaves and scents of its Coombsville vineyard source add layers of complexity to this well-made, balanced wine. This is a medium to full-bodied 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with a long finish and polished tannins.
