Located on the border of Sonoma and Napa County, so both county’s grapes are used to make the Cab; 2019 is made-up of 65% Sonoma fruit and 35% Napa fruit. The wine does an amazing job of showing an earthy profile of mountain herb, cracked pepper, leather, pencil shaving and cigar box. Dark fruits of blackcurrants and black cherries provide a lifted freshness to the earth components. A stellar showing of “mountain fruit” that’s appealing to both Bordeaux drinkers as well as Napa/Sonoma drinkers.
