Pormenor “Canuco” Tinto Douro 2019

A blend of the usual grapes destined for fortified wines, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Rorriz, Tinta Amarella and Alicante Bouschet, the wine is kept youthful and refreshing with whole cluster fermentation and no new oak. The fruit is bright with some balsamic notes, bitter plums skins and blackberry seeds. The regions earthy DNA and savory smokiness is still present, though the ABV is low and the overall extraction is minimal.
