100% Nerello Mascalese from the slopes of Mount Etna, Sicily (2000 feet elevation). Brief ageing (3 months) in used oak barrels. Red fruits, mouth watering acidity, white pepper and dry thyme/arugula notes. Light yet persistent tannins. If you know and love Etna reds, you gotta have this. Great deal too.
