This comes from old vines with an age of over forty-five years, and as is traditional in Muscadet, it is matured 9 to 12 months on its lees prior to bottling. The lees are stirred to keep them in suspension, creating texture. Flavors of lemon, grapefruit, white currant and nectarine are backed by mellifluous acidity. The mouthwatering salinic minerality that the region is known for provides a perfect backdrop for the fruit flavors to round out the finish.
