Pierce Ranch Cosecheiro Touriga Monterey County NV

The name Cosecheiro refers to the small, independent wine growers of the Iberian Peninsula, much like the tiny Pierce Ranch in the San Antonio Valley of Monterey County, where both Touriga Nacional and Touriga Francesca are planted. The famous grapes for Port are lighter than one would expect, with less-ripe aromas of plum, blackberry, mulberry and cracked black pepper. Medium to light bodied and eminently drinkable, this is a combination of the 2017 and the 2018 vintages.
