Pichierri "'Terrarossa'" Primitivo di Manduria 2016
Here is a primitivo coming from a fourth generation wine-making family that perfectly represents the Puglia region. The vineyards are located in Sava on the Salento peninsula, which most people know as “the heel”. This is Italy’s Crljenak Kaštelanski/ Zinfandel, if you will, and it really shows the characteristics of the red soil. Aromas and flavors of fig, leather, roasted plum, cherry, and baking spice. Medium body with soft tannins and a long finish.
|Wine Alcohol Content||Medium-High (13.5% - 14.9%)|
