Philippe Chevarin “Le Souffle” Melon de Bourgogne 2020
Foregoing the regional designate of Muscadet, simply calling it “Le Souffle”, a Vin de France, this 100% Melon de Bourgogne is not the traditional oyster shell style. The wine leans on its exquisite freshness, helped along by the native yeast and no sulfites added. Aromas of honeydew melon, gardenia, banana cream, jackfruit and poached pears present a very expressive introduction. These aromas hardly put a stop to the natural acidity of the grape.
