Philip Togni Ca’ Togni Sweet Red Wine Napa 2012

Sweet, but not too sweet. Rare to see this style in Napa Valley, but the Togni Family has a small obsession with the Black Hamburgh (Black Muscat) grape. Grown on their 2000' elevation, estate vineyard, the resulting wine is delicious, rich, perfectly sweet, and beautifully balanced with acid. Very floral, cotton candy, blueberry pie and blackberry. Buy this while you can, the vines succumbed to age-related disease and have sadly been removed.
