Pfeiffer Classic Topaque NV

Rutherglen’s hot climate is responsible for some of the greatest and most distinctive fortified wines in the world. Topaque is made from the Muscadelle grape, oxidatively aged in hot conditions – in this case, for an average of ten years. Warmth and oxygen lead to nutty, caramel, toffee, and fruitcake aromas and a richly sweet, viscous “sticky” palate, as well as Topaque’s characteristic cold tea and fish oil. A heady wine that’s great with dessert.
