Peyrassol Cuvee de la Cammanderie Rose Cotes de Provence 2019

Commanderie de Peyrassol was founded by the Knights of Templar who were dedicated to protecting the Crusaders, with the first recorded vintage in 1256. Comprised of Cinsault (49%), Rolle (15%), Mourvèdre(13%), Tibouren (10%), Grenache (9%), and Syrah (5%), rosé does not get more classic than this.  Delicate rosy appearance with charming wild berries of gooseberry, raspberry, and strawberry.  Silky on the palate with cream of tartar, citrus, and great persistence on the finish.
