100% Syrah and 100% whole cluster sourced from five vineyards including Alder Springs and Hawk's Butte. A touch of carbonic pop takes all of those firm and stern Syrah characteristics, gets them to crack the smallest of smiles, then gets back to business. Smoky, meaty, underripe plums, and a touch of green olive are surrounded by black pepper, violets, juicy blackberries and evolving tannins that seem to almost develop in reverse.
