Paul Pernot Bourgogne Blanc 2013

One of Burgundy's great producers, Paul Pernot makes pure, intense and delicious White Burgundies from their Batard to this, their entry-level Bourgogne. The warm 2015 vintage really shines here: fleshy texture, flavors of ripe yellow apples, Anjou pears and lemon chiffon, all backed up with just the right level of acidity. Hint of bitterroot on the long finish.
