Paul Launois Composition Champagne NV

Composition #3 by Paul Launois is a true expression of Le Mesnil terroir through the lens of Julien Lainois.  This third release is based on the 2017 harvest with an elegant and unending minerality. Apple pie and lemon pastry, brioche and lemon curd show brightly despite its low dosage of 1g/L. There is a lot of tension and laser-like intensity. The importer likes to describe this release as, “More a Ferrari than a Rolls-Royce.”
