Paul Cherrier Sancerre 2019

Sancerre wines seem to have gotten a little bit softer over the years, but this Cherrier has not received the memo. Acidity, intensity and flinty power are displayed here, but all within reason and balance.  Bruised pear, yellow apple, gardenia, Grapefruit, Meyer lemon, and precise minerality from 6 months in tank.  Stephane Cherrier is a rockstar in Sancerre that many locals have been keeping tabs on, as he seems to be rising to levels of the classics.
