Patrick Lesec Cairanne Cotes du Rhone 2020

Patrick Lesec is a bit of a Grenache specialist with all of his negociant wines from the Rhône Valley being Grenache based. Cairanne has long been an important village in Cotes du Rhone, but it wasn’t until 2016 that it achieved Cru status. This is fresh and fruity with blackberries, dried roses, lavender and black cherries.  A gravelly undertone provides a lightness to the fruit, with soft acidity and meaty tannins.
