Patria Cabernet Sauvignon "Oakville Ranch" Oakville, Napa Valley 2014

Winemaker Tony Biagi and California wine distributor Kimberly Jones' joint venture. Fruit's from Oakville Ranch, which looks down upon the Valley on the east side (not far from Pritchard Hill). Concentrated, dark berry and cherry fruits merge with dark earth, toasty oak and sweet spice pleasures. Fresh burst of acidity levitates the flavors. Very good now and will improve through 2025. 10% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot. Aged in 100% new French oak.
