Pass Wines Merlot Coombsville AVA Napa 2021

The 2021 vintage of Merlot is 100% Farella Vineyard in Coombsville with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon added. Ryan Pass has close to decade of experience working with these vines resulting in a wine that is well-balanced between earth and fruit. Bordeaux qualities abound with plums, heavy doses of herbs, purple fruits and red fruits. While the fruit itself does not display ripeness, the drying qualities of the grape have achieved optimal ripeness for a well-rounded Merlot.
