Paratus Cabernet Sauvignon Mt Veeder, Napa Valley 2010

"Paratus Vineyard" is up Mt Veeder Road at 1500 Feet (just over half way up the Mountain). 2010 vintage, a cool yet ripe year, giving both power and nuance, especially now with a little bottle age. Great concentration. Pours out deep dark ruby, loads of liqueur-like berry fruit pours from the glass + graphite, nutmeg, violets, mocha. The "Mountain tannins" are there but under control. 100% Cab Sauv, 22 months in all new French oak, 475 cases made.
