Paradigm Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville 2015

Perfect after a deacade! Under the aegis of Heidi Barrett, Paradigm have been making classic – and very classy – Napa Cabernet since the early 1990s. They’re located in the heart of Oakville, and this is a perfect representation of that great AVA. The wine is big but extremely well balanced, with aromas of black fruit, oak, coffee, clove, and pepper followed by a grainy tannic texture and a round mouthfeel: everything is restrained and well-integrated, yet with a deep, full, very complex structure.
