About 90% Tempranillo, 10% a mix of Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha. Tank ferment then, one year in used oak barrels. Pours out a deep, rich color. Smell & taste a melange of dark, brooding berries + anise, espresso, black truffle, oiled leather. Firm tannins that are balanced by the richness. Long, earth-driven finish. Lots going on for a wine of this price.
