Orin Swift "Machete" California Red Wine 2014

Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache blend. 40% new French oak aged, 10 months. Fruit's from Napa and neighbor wine regions. Opaque, black/ruby color. Smells like summer berry preserves, black pepper, dark chocolate shavings and licorice. Tastes the same with a little pipe tobacco, black olive and kirsch for good measure. Super-concentrated, medium/hi tannins.
