79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec. The 2013 Opus is called "the greatest Opus One ever" by wine critic James Suckling. We tasted it in August 2016. "Greatest" of course is debatable. We would call it the most "serious" we've ever had. Powerful Napa fruit coats layers of truffle, cedar, dark chocolate, tobacco, black currants, smoked soy sauce and espresso. Cellar and drink this 2025-2035.
