Old Poodle Dog Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, Magnum 2013

Magnum Local winery COHO's 2nd release of, what we call, "OPD." 2/3 Coombsville fruit, rest Yountville Cross Road and Diamond Mountain. Nose: cinnamon dusted black cherries, cocoa powder, tar and wheat toast. Taste black currants, more black cherries, pie spice, tobacco and mocha. Big, youthful finish of both flavor and tannins. A "serious" Napa Cab for a not-so-serious price. 8% combined Merlot, Malbec & Petit Verdot.
