Octopoda Chardonnay Russian River Valley

A fun and immediate expression of Chardonnay coming from Russian River Valley. Aged in 50% new French oak for 18 months, there are lots of fruit and spices – pear, peach, apricot, white pepper, clove – as well as rich yogurt and cheese. That richness is well balanced by refreshing acidity which lightens the palate. Easy to drink, either on its own lightly chilled or with a creamy fish dish or, dare we say, octopus.
