Occhipinti SP68 Rosso Sicily 2019

Arianna Occhipinti is legendary in the wine world and her wines are sought after for their biodynamic practices as well as their stellar overall quality. Named after the road which passes by the winery, the rosso is a blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato. The wine harnesses all the power that the volcanic soil offers while maintaining finesse and elegance. Red fruits mingle with black fruits, cherry, and tar.  Floral aromatics are added from the Frappato while the dark and brooding side of Nero d'Avola provides backbone.
