“LES TONNELIERES”

Another extremely well-made wine from Nicolas Pointeau, with the Tonneliers expression grown in gravelly soils over tuffeau limestone bedrock. Lavender, rosemary, plums, sandal wood and fresh pressed olive oil. There is a bushel of herbal qualities with dark fruits and an influence of camphor from large neutral barrels, with some dusty gravel aromas adding additional layers to the pristine fruit. A producer that delivers wines of  truth and intent.
