Newfound Wines Grenache Yount Mill Napa Valley 2019

The Yount Mill Vineyard in Napa, the source for this exquisite fruit, has been farmed organically since 1987, a rarity amongst Napa Vineyards.  There are four rows in the vineyard with which Newfound makes 126 cases. Mostly whole cluster bunches go into the fermenter with native yeasts doing the work.  Rich, light, fruity and vibrant, with restrained cherries, toasted red plums and fruit leather.  A creamy mid-palate opens the door for a structured finish of chewy fruit and fresh tannins.
