Nastro D'Oro Amaro San Constanzo

From Monte San Costanzo, on the Sorrentine Peninsula, on the Mediterranean, looking over the island of Capri. Not labeled as a Fernet, but it is, especially on the spicy, breath mint/anise wild nose. The typical aggressiveness of Fernet is mellowed by the sweetness on the mid palate and finish. Best served with two ice cubes. Let them melt a little.
