Green & Red Zinfandel "Chiles Canyon Vineyards" Napa Valley 2014 - $24
Zin grapes come from Green & Red's 3 "Estate" vineyards in Chiles Valley ("Chiles Mill," "Tip Top" and "Catacula"). Sports a regal red-ruby color. Smell and taste deep, dark, ripe black cherries & berries (lightly cooked), anise, mint, cocoa, vanilla bean, lavender. Showing its youthful spirit now (Feb 2016) so let it stretch. Ridiculously good value.
