Mountain Tides Petite Sirah Contra Costa 2017

This comes from a very sandy vineyard in Contra Costa that’s almost like growing the vines on the beach. Alcohol is only 13.3% – this isn’t a big, heavy-hitting Petite Sirah. There’s still plenty going on, with aromas of black fruits, chocolate, ground coffee, black olives, sage, and licorice rounded out by firm, gripping tannins and a chewy mouthfeel. Deep and delicious.
