Montsecano "Refugio" Casablanca Pinot Noir 2016

Joint venture between Alsace winemaker André Ostertag and former photographer Julio Donoso. These two charismatic, passionate men simply make the best Pinot Noir in Chile. The grapes are grown just a few kilometers from the Pacific, the cool conditions, rocky soils, and biodynamic farming resulting in wines of concentration and finesse. An earthy, perfumed, lightly fruity nose leads on to a grainy, herbal palate with a subtle, vibrant mouthfeel and long finish. Outstanding.
