Miss Olivia Brion Chardonnay "Heron Lake Vineyard" Wild Horse Valley 2013

"Heron Lake Vineyard" is about 5 miles from Back Room Wines as the crow flies. Tucked away in the hills southeast of Napa, it's truly off the beaten path. Cool climate & rocky, well drained soils make for Chardonnay that's rich and creamy and still light on its feet. Smell and taste lemon curd, fresh juicy pears, butterscotch, hazelnuts, apple butter, croissants fresh from the oven. Really good on its own, and really REALLY good with fresh cracked crab and butter-poached prawns.
