Mike & Molly Hendry Zinfandel "R.W. Moore Vineyard" Napa Valley 2015

The iconic R. W. Moore vineyard in Coombsville was planted back in 1905, and became known as the earthquake vineyard. Dry-farmed and head-trained, those old vines produce wonderfully concentrated Zinfandel. A heady nose of ripe, jammy strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and damsons on top of licorice, roses, and violets, leads into an intense, structured palate with gripping tannins.
