Mike & Molly Hendry "R.W. Moore Vineyard" Zinfandel 2021

The iconic R. W. Moore vineyard in Coombsville was planted back in 1905, and became known as the earthquake vineyard. Dry-farmed and head-trained, those old vines produce wonderfully concentrated Zinfandel. A heady nose of ripe, jammy strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and damsons on top of licorice, roses, and violets, leads into an intense, structured palate with gripping tannins. Like chewing on freshly picked fruit.
