Up in the Santa Cruz Mountains at 1700 feet, this vineyard is tucked in amongst Redwoods, flora and fauna. Whole cluster ferment, foot punchdown, unfined/unfiltered. Nose is pretty wild red cherries, red beets, ruby red grapefruit and Asian tea & spice. Taste more of the same with excellent acidity, light on the oak, fine tannins, 45 second finish.
