Merlin Cherrier Sancerre Rouge France 2017
SKU
5223
Sancerre is extremely famous for its white wines, especially in America, but many don’t even know that they make a red wine out of the only black grape that is permitted to be grown; Pinot Noir. This will never get as ripe as a California Pinot Noir and has notes of the forests that surround the vineyards. The color is a transparent with a bright cranberry juice tinge. Black cherry, mulberry, and cedar box with a clean crisp mouthfeel; medium tannins.
