Merisi Pinot Gris Los Carneros 2018

Rare but great example of local Pinot Gris – a bit richer than Pinot Grigio but not too much so. Lots of lime zest on the aromatic nose, as well as prickly pear, peach, apricot, and grass. The rich, weighty palate is perfectly balanced by fresh acidity, before finishing on a racy, spicy, lingering mouthfeel. A refreshing wine on its own, and also an ideal pairing for white fish.
