From Bierzo, northwest Spain. Gregory Perez, winegrower.85% Mencia from 80 year old vines growing on hillsides of clay, sand and slate. 15% Garnacha from 30 year old vines. Co-ferment with 20% whole cluster. Aged in large neutral barrels. "An electric red with a mix of blue, black & red fruits, pepper spice, purple flowers and a lovely freshness. Pair with herb crusted roast pork or lamb."
